Speaker: Donna Blair

Lessons on Truth & Reconciliation – From an Indigenous Perspective

Donna Blair has worked as a dedicated Indigenous Support Worker with an impressive 14-year track record of helping individuals navigate the complexities of life. Since 1999, Donna has also worked as a Life Skills Coach and facilitator, leading workshops focused on Employment Programs, the Canada Revenue Agency, and Youth Leadership Programs.
Donna has served 8 years on the Mamele’awt Qweesome (MQHS) and the To’o Housing Society board and and currently serves as Board Chair.  This small yet impactful non-profit organizations is committed to providing essential housing and childcare services to Indigenous families in the Fraser Valley region.

At the heart of Donna’s work lies her unwavering passion and core values, which revolve around fostering a safe learning environment and empowering individuals in their daily lives. Her dedication to creating supportive spaces enables others to thrive both personally and professionally.

5 Minute Speaker: Trish Fedewich

Trish Fedewich just celebrated her 30th year as a BC Notary Public.  Her business, Fedewich & Witt Notaries Public in Cloverdale, last year reached a milestone of 45 years in business. Trish & her husband, Norman Witt, specialize in estate planning including wills, powers of attorneys, representation agreements.  They also specialize in land transfers and mortgages.

Education has been key part in Trish’s career, and she has been an instructor for BC Notaries for 25 years, she has served on the board of her society for 6 years and she has been appointed by the BC govt to the Board of Examiners for BC Notaries for the last 6 years.

Trish first became a member of VWA in 1995!
